About

Health Partner is a secure, all-in-one habit tracker that turns movement, hydration, and mindful journaling into quiet daily wins. Sync effortlessly with Health Connect, earn screen time by staying active, and keep your thoughts completely private with our zero-knowledge encrypted journal.

✨ CORE FEATURES

🚢 Hourly Walk Reminders
Set a daily time window and get a gentle nudge each hour to take a short walk. Mark it complete right from the notification, or let the app auto-detect it if you're already moving.

πŸ›‘οΈ Screen Guard (Earn Screen Time by Walking)
Turn your steps into a reward. Set limits on distracting apps and earn your screen time by walking. Screen Guard shows a friendly reminder shield over restricted apps instead of a hard block, helping you build better digital habits.

πŸ“Š Activity & Workout Sync
See today's steps, active minutes, distance, and sleep pulled directly from Health Connect. Track progress toward your personal daily goals with a full history and streak tracking going back 6 months.

πŸ’§ Water Tracking Widget
Log your daily water intake instantly, right from your home screen widget.

πŸ”Œ AI-Powered Logging via MCP
Health Partner is fully compatible with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Securely connect Claude or your favorite AI to log meals, workouts, water, or sleep just by describing them. You control the secure connection, and your private journal always remains strictly off-limits.

πŸ”’ Mind β€” Zero-Knowledge Private Journal
A fully end-to-end encrypted journal. Your entries are encrypted on your device before they ever leave it, using a passphrase only you know. We cannot read your journal, ever. Lock it further behind biometric unlock for step-up protection.

πŸ” Secure by Design
Full account system with optional two-factor authentication, passkey (fingerprint/face unlock) sign-in, and instant Sign in with Apple or Google.

ℹ️ TRANSPARENCY & PERMISSIONS
We believe in complete data transparency. Health Partner operates with the following privacy standards:

Accessibility Service API (Screen Guard): Screen Guard uses the Accessibility Service API to detect which app you currently have open, so it can show a reminder or block screen once you've used up the screen time you've earned by walking. It does not read screen content, on-screen text, or any personal data, and is never used for audio recording or to change device settings. Enabling it is optional and requires your explicit in-app confirmation before Android's settings screen opens.

Health Data & Calorie Tracking: Health Partner displays the user's daily calories burned as part of its core activity-tracking dashboard β€” a calorie stat tile on the Home screen and a calorie goal ring/chart on the Activity tab β€” alongside steps, distance, and active minutes read from the same record set. The value is also included in the historical daily-activity data synced to the user's own account so they can view calorie trends over days/weeks/months. It is used solely to power this activity-tracking feature and is not used for advertising or shared with third parties.

Idea validation
Sean Ellis developed a simple test: if you were no longer able to use this product today, how disappointed would you be β€” very disappointed, somewhat, or not? The golden benchmark is 40%. Like Superhuman did, you can segment that data to find the nucleus of your highest-intent users and use it to build a product roadmap that moves you over the line.

Use the 40% disappointment test to quantify product-market fit β€” not just 'feel it when you see it'

The binary 'you'll know it when you see it' PMF definition is not actionable. The 40% threshold gives a directional score that can be tracked over time and segmented by user type. Superhuman ran this test iteratively β€” found they were below 40%, identified which segments were closest, talked to those users, built toward their needs, and systematically crossed the threshold.

Distribution
no one on this earth shares apps right no one's going to randomly be like 'Hey download this app.' ...what they tend to do is actually share an asset within the app...people would you know make a song about their friend cussing their friend Their friend listens to it...big green button that said create your own song

Make The Shared Asset The Wedge And Hide The Install Behind A Web View

For Magic Music, users shared songs that opened in a web view recipients could play instantly β€” no install required. A prominent 'create your own song' CTA then converted listeners into downloaders. The shared artifact is the wedge; the install is the upsell. Nobody recommends apps, but everyone shares the thing the app made.

There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
