CtrlOps
Deploy, Debug and Manage Linux servers with AI
Developer Tools·AI & Machine Learning
About
CtrlOps is a local-first desktop application that helps developers and technical teams manage all their Linux servers from one unified dashboard without needing a dedicated DevOps engineer.
The core feature is the AI Terminal. Describe what you need in plain English and CtrlOps generates the exact Linux command, explains what it will do, and waits for your approval before running anything. Nothing executes without your confirmation.
Everything runs 100% on your machine. No credentials, SSH keys, or server details ever leave your device. No cloud. No agents on servers.
Additional features include a multi-server dashboard, one-click GitHub deployments, visual file manager, real-time server health monitoring, SSH key management, backup visibility, scripts library, and user access control.
Available on Mac, Windows, and Linux. 1 month free trial with no credit card required.

We hardly took any primary capital in 2018 i didn't i didn't want it... i didn't want to get stuck in a a growth model that's dependent on unsustainable paid acquisition right so um almost the entire deal was secondary capital.
Take Almost No Primary Capital — Secondary Liquidity Lets You Stay Organic
When AllTrails raised $75M from Spectrum Equity, Ron structured it so almost all was secondary (buying out the founder and early investors) with minimal primary hitting the balance sheet. His reason: primary capital creates pressure to spend aggressively on paid acquisition, which conflicts with an organic-SEO-driven model. Taking secondary-only let the company maintain its growth DNA while giving the original stakeholders their exit.
I'm very used to like iterative building and kind of this idea that you never actually finish anything... this whole idea of like it's a bit like I guess like making a movie where once it's done it's done
Match shipping cadence to the medium
Book publishing is the inverse of SaaS — no A/B tests, no iteration, no immediate feedback loop. Budget for a multi-year process you can't tweak post-launch, and accept that the audience will be unpredictably broad. If you need the dopamine of weekly shipping, books will frustrate you. Pick the right cadence per medium instead of fighting it.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
